	Helico-axial Subsea Pump Flow Helico-axial pumps consist of multiple stages of impellers (helico-axial-type rotor) followed by stationary guide vanes (diffuser-type stators). Compression of the fluid is achieved through the transfer of kinetic energy from the rotating impeller blades through the fixed diffuser vanes.
	Permanent Magnet Motor Flow Permanent magnet motors increase the overall system efficiency by 10 percent. This technology allows the pumps to deliver up to 6MW more power per pump, without increasing mechanical losses. Due to the sealed rotor and stator design that allows the use of MEG/H2O environmentally friendly barrier fluids, permanent magnet subsea motors require less maintenance than traditional machinery, which is a highly significant, cost-saving benefit for subsea operators.
